What IS this funemployment, anyways?

There's been much discussion over what funemployment is, for example over here is one such post. I just thought I'd add my own definition.

Is there an alternative to job-hunting?

Herein lies the question. There is an alternative to the stress and anxiety that’s part and parcel of scouring for a new income, when the 9-5 grind finally and thankfully comes to a halt, be it through redundancies or firings.

Known as funemployment, this alternative is becoming increasingly popular. Funemployment means embracing a new found freedom that is the result of being 'out of work'. Now that you have retired from the workforce; you can pursue all of the things that you have dreamed of doing.

It is such a relief to be freed from needing to constantly work and to realize that life can be rewarding even if you are not in a traditional job.

For those who need to return to the workforce due to the economy, or those who are seeking new employment due to job loss, there are new avenues that are opening up right now. You can begin to make your dreams a reality, just as countless others are doing. In adopting this lifestyle, thousands of people are now experiencing and making the most of this free time in a way that few previous generations have.

This generation doesn't have to wait for that faraway age of retirement anymore. Now, is a time that it can happen. Not since the industrial revolution have people been so disenchanted with working in their thankless and uninspiring jobs. A break is required by people. Everybody requires rest. Everyone needs to have joy in their life.

The great thing is, is this is not an unreachable fantasy. This could be completely plausible. It's a simple task.

If you have some savings or you live in a country that is developed, you can really enjoy funemployment and have lots of excitement if you are creative and imaginative.
